Diocese of Britain and Ireland
The Diocese of Britain and Ireland is part of the Serbian Orthodox Church and the spiritual home of Orthodox Serbs in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Founded with the aim of preserving the faith, culture and national identity, the Diocese brings the faithful together through worship, prayer and community activities.
Churches and parishes throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland bear witness to a rich spiritual life and the devotion of the faithful. The diocesan bishop, clergy and parishioners actively work to strengthen spiritual values, organise charitable initiatives and preserve the Serbian language and tradition.

Bishop
Bishop Nektarije of Britain and Ireland
Nektarije (secular name Ratko Samardžić) is the Bishop of Britain and Ireland and former Vicar Bishop of Jegar (2022–2024).
He was born in Sarajevo to his father Nemanja (†2009) and his mother Nada (née Remić). He began primary school in Sarajevo and completed it in Gothenburg, Kingdom of Sweden, where his family relocated due to the conflicts of the 1990s.

Discover the Orthodox Way
Orthodox Way is a WhatsApp community gathering English-speaking catechumens preparing for baptism, as well as those seeking catechesis in the Orthodox faith. It is also a home for our youth who do not speak Serbian but wish to grow in their faith and heritage.
This is an open platform where catechists regularly share texts, icons, study materials and everything needed for catechism classes. Our vision is to build a living library of British Christianity – a resource of texts, icons and reflections accessible to all who walk the Orthodox Way.

The “Children’s Heart” humanitarian organization provides professional, advisory, and practical support to people with developmental disabilities and their families, including families living abroad.

“Sounds of the Heart” is a café and work center where people with developmental disabilities work, create, and develop their skills in an environment filled with acceptance, respect, and love.
Learning the Cyrillic Alphabet
The free educational app “Learning the Cyrillic Alphabet” helps children learn to read and write in Cyrillic in an engaging and modern way, expand their vocabulary, and preserve the Serbian language—wherever they live.
